Do hand-embroidered or pure cotton garments shrink?
Natural fabrics like 100% pure cotton, Mulmul, and Chanderi may undergo minor natural shrinkage (around 1–2%) after the first wash. If you prefer a relaxed fit or are between sizes, we suggest opting for one size larger.
### Are unstitched suit sets available?
Yes, we offer both readymade garments and unstitched dress materials so you can customize the tailoring to your preferred measurements.

Is all the embroidery done by hand?
Yes! As direct manufacturers based in Lucknow, all our authentic Chikankari pieces feature traditional hand-embroidery (including classic stitches such as Bakhiya, Phanda, Ghasspatti, and Shadow Work) created by skilled artisans.

Why does my garment have slight variations in the pattern?
Unlike machine-made clothes, authentic hand embroidery is done thread by thread by human hands. Minor variations in stitch density, motif placement, or tiny washable trace marks are natural marks of true handicraft—making every single piece uniquely yours.

How should I wash my Chikankari garments?

• Pure Cotton, Mulmul & Viscose : We recommend a gentle hand wash separately in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Do not soak for long periods or wring harshly.
• Georgette, Chanderi & Silk Blends : Dry cleaning is strongly recommended to preserve the delicate fabric and hand embroidery work.

How should I dry and iron my clothes?
Always air dry your garments in the shade to prevent fabric color fading.
Iron on a low-to-medium heat setting. We recommend ironing on the Reverse side of the embroidery to protect the delicate threads.
